How does it work?

Participants have agreed to sleep (or at least try to) for 4 hours in their car on June 19th.

Every "COZY" pledge decreases the number of minutes they will spend in their vehicle (1 minute for each $1).

Every "Sweltering" pledge increases the number of minutes they will spend in their vehicle (1 minute for each $1)

The maximum amount of time they will stay in their car is 8 hours.

Pledging takes place until June 19th at 4pm.  We encourage online pledges, but they can also be collected the "old-fashioned" way.  At that time pledges will be tallied and participants will be notified of their total "Sweltering" minutes owed.

I am so excited to volunteer for this event because I believe that we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I’m looking forward to helping raise money and awareness for Family Promise!

I am really happy to be a part of Family Promise. I believe that getting our little ones off the street and into a safe and stable home is one of the most important things we can do for our community.

Everyone is just a few unfortunate circumstances away from needing a hand up in life... I've got two, might as well put them to good use. I think this is a great cause, and I'm proud to be a part of it
